Name: Casper

Age: 19

History:
Casper was born to a noble family and grew up with all that was expected with it--never without anything he needed. Although he had disputes with his parents from time to time he got along fairly well with them, and his siblings. In fact in retrospect, as he'd say, he's had a pretty boring life.
Being the oldest of his siblings, he had to fend for himself early on. In times of boredom he found ways to entertain himself, practicing his lute which was a family staple instrument--everyone had to learn it. Not master it, mind, but at least learn it. Casper did so, and it eventually grew on him enough for him to take it on as something more than a hobby--a passion. He would go to the middle of towns and listen to traveling minstrels to pick up techniques by them, and that had him decide that was what he wanted to do. There was no boredom with this profession! He would be constantly composing and accompanying warriors through Unova.
He began searching for a way to get into this profession when the tensions began to rise in the kingdom, and the two princes began to divide. It was to Casper's dismay that his family supported Prince Reinhardt--though Casper didn't support either prince, Einarr had the support of the warriors, whilst Reinhardt did now. Casper needed warriors and knights for his job--it was their tales and adventures he had to sing about. But he couldn't if he had to support Reinhardt.
He left home--his parents accepting, as they knew he was old and independent enough, though they did not know the full reason--and joined with the Rangers guild. He was not fit enough to be a Warrior, but the Rangers were on the same side as the Warriors, and he had no problem going through Unova's wilderness (though he has yet to truly explore it... he thinks it certainly can't be that bad?)

Personality:
Casper always tries to be cheerful! As a minstrel he is his own business, and so he has to sell the product. He really loves Pokemon and has his Togetic Adam out at all times of day. He's very creative, enjoys all kinds of music and art. His first language was German, and although he speaks English quite well he easily gets embarrassed or awkward if he can't find the right English words, or if someone can't understand him through his accent. He's a bit of a hopeless romantic and, due to his noble upbringing, has a bit of a sense of entitlement. If he's faced with something not working out he will have a hard time dealing with it.

Extra:
Along with the lute he can play the shawm, a double reed instrument (similar to an oboe), though he prefers to play on lute since he is more comfortable on it, as well as he can sing while playing lute. He sometimes puts on an act where he plays both at once, and trained Adam to do the fingerings on the shawm!
He is also in a relationship with Cozamalotl. <3

Pokemon:

Adam: Casper received Adam as a Togepi when he was young. The two are very close, and you'll often find Adam resting on Casper's hat, or his shoulder. Adam is, like Casper, very cheerful and bright, and also very curious. He doesn't speak very often.

Hildegarde: was found as a Gligar in the woods outside Casper's home. Casper decided to catch her but she didn't warm up to him for a while. She eventually got to Casper through Adam, who she treats as a younger brother. She is often distrusting of others she hasn't met and to trust them she has to see those who she trusts trusting them. Casper uses her in his acts as well, gliding above a crowd, hanging on her tail and playing his lute.
